Drippers

  • HARIO V60 Dripper (02)

The most widely used standard across the world’s specialty scene. Ribs and a conical shape optimize water flow for a bright, clean cup.

    ¥800–¥1,800

  • KALITA Wave Dripper 185

A flat bottom plus three holes keeps extraction stable. More beginner-friendly than the HARIO, with less variation at home.

    ¥1,500–¥3,500

  • ORIGAMI Dripper

A V60-style derivative with a beautiful form evoking traditional Japanese paper folding. Compatible with V60 paper.

    ¥3,000–¥5,000

Paper filters

  • HARIO V60 Paper Filters 02 (100 sheets)

If you use a V60, the genuine filters are the safe bet. Bleached has almost no paper smell; unbleached leaves a slight paper flavor but is gentler on the environment.

    ¥300–¥800

  • CAFEC Abaca Premium T-90

Manila-hemp blended for fast drainage — great when you want to bring out bright acidity. Popular with specialty roasters.

    ¥600–¥1,200

Drip kettles

  • Brewista Artisan Electric Kettle

Temperature setting (1°C steps), hold-warm and a timer. Full control over specialty’s “change the taste with water temperature.”

    ¥15,000–¥22,000

  • HARIO V60 Buono Drip Kettle

A standard with a narrow spout for full flow control. Works on gas and IH. Commonly used by boiling in an electric kettle and pouring over.

    ¥3,500–¥5,500

  • Takahiro Shizuku Drip Pot 0.9L

A Japanese artisan piece. Pricier, but a professional standard for clean cutoff and precise flow control.

    ¥7,000–¥11,000

Coffee scales

  • TIMEMORE Black Mirror Basic+

0.1g accuracy, a built-in brew timer and auto-tare. Plenty of function at under half the price of an Acaia — a driver of specialty’s spread.

    ¥5,500–¥8,000

  • Acaia Pearl S

Top-of-the-industry response speed and accuracy. Bluetooth app integration, for pros and serious hobbyists.

    ¥28,000–¥40,000

  • HARIO V60 Drip Scale

The cheapest way in. Timer and scale in one, tracking minutes, seconds and water weight together.

    ¥3,500–¥5,500

Coffee servers

  • HARIO V60 Range Server 600

Microwave-safe, heatproof glass with measurement marks. The standard that fits the V60 02 perfectly.

    ¥1,200–¥2,200

  • KINTO SCS Coffee Jug

A balance of design and function. Good-looking enough to bring straight to the table, and great as a gift.

    ¥2,800–¥4,500
