Install Guide
Add to your home screen
Coffee Info is a web app that needs no installation, but adding it to your home screen
gives you the same feel as a native app.
To keep your tasting records for the long run, we strongly recommend adding to the home screen
- iPhone (iOS Safari): in the browser alone, tasting photos and the like can be auto-deleted if unused for 7 days
- iOS 17+: a PWA added to the home screen has its own independent storage and can use up to 80% of free space (browser is ~1GB)
- Android Chrome: when disk runs low, data from old sites is deleted first, but an added PWA is automatically persisted and exempt

FAQ
Q. Can I download it from the App Store / Google Play?
A. Currently it’s web-only. Adding it to your home screen gives nearly the same experience as an app-store install.
Q. Where is my data stored?
A. Favorites, tastings, inventory and the like are all stored in your device’s browser. Adding to the home screen shares the browser’s storage, so your data carries over.
Q. How do I remove it?
A. Just long-press the home-screen icon and choose Remove. Your browser history access to this site remains.
Q. Does it use much storage?
A. About 5MB (without attached images). Adding tasting photos increases it by roughly 100–300KB each.
