Mogiana is a traditional coffee region straddling São Paulo state and Minas Gerais.

Fertile red soil (terra rossa) and moderate elevation grow sweet, full-bodied coffee with nuts, milk chocolate and caramel.It has been known as a source of fine coffee since the early days.
