Doi Tung is the stage of the Doi Tung Development Project, which introduced coffee, macadamia and other sustainable crops in place of former opium-poppy cultivation. Begun in 1988 under the late Princess Mother Srinagarindra, the initiative is internationally regarded as a model of alternative development answering poverty and the narcotics problem at once.
With consistent quality control by the project’s headquarters and washed processing at the core, it reliably supplies delicate lots of jasmine and light fruit.
