About this region

i.Tribal communities, organic coffee

In Araku Valley, indigenous (Adivasi) communities said to number some hundred thousand households grow coffee by organic and biodynamic methods. Their agroforestry — raising coffee under shade trees among diverse crops — has drawn international attention as a model at once traditional and forward-looking, protecting soil health and biodiversity.

ii.Quality the world recognized

Gold medals at the Prix Epicures in Paris in 2017 and again in 2018 showed the world that India is more than a land of robusta and Monsooned Malabar. Floral, clean arabica from Araku is spoken of as a lot that symbolizes the future of Indian specialty.
